Starr Pass Loop Mountain Biking
Over in Tucson Mountain Park, there’s even more trails to explore in whatever way you see sit. However, a great and recommended start is with the Starr Pass Loop that’ll give an excellent taste of everything the area has to offer.
At 9.3 miles with a 585 elevation gain, this rocky loop provides a fun ride through the Tucson mountains. The trail has plenty of winding slopes up and down that go past sandy washes, across the desert in pleasant hardpack dirt, and up some rocky steps where you’ll need to get lightly technical. All in all, this loop is a fairly balanced ride that you can easily fit into an afternoon.
