The Great Western Trail ATVing
Stretching all the way from Mexico to Canada, this National Millennium Trail runs through five western states— and its first 800 or so miles start in Arizona. You can take this historical trail for either a small day trip or an extended excursion, and you’ll have plenty of national forest to pick from all the way from Tucson to Flagstaff. While it may be cheating to put this under one recommendation, the whole stretch is an important piece of Arizona history that should be appreciated in some form or another.
