Telegraph Pass Trail Mountain Biking

Just a short drive outside of Yuma, Telegraph Pass Trail is noticeably different from your average hike up one of Arizona’s desert mountains. Different isn’t bad though, and there are a few ways to tackle climbing over 1,400 feet in just 5.3 miles.

What makes this trail different from the norm is how urbanized it feels. The end destination at the very top is a set of towers, and a good chunk of the ‘trail’ is steep paved road that winds up and down the mountain. If you’re feeling like sticking to hardpack dirt and a rocky climb, there’s a lesser known side trail that goes up to the same destination— making for multiple ways to enjoy this trail.
