Four Peaks OHV Road #143 ATVing

While the Four Peaks themselves provide a wonderful background, the grand variety of roads and things to see beneath them are the real treasure here. Desert trails, cliff ridges, sandy washes, hillside chutes, built up play areas for many vehicles, and stunning wildflowers are just some of the selection— and there are trails to take for people of all skill levels.

Road #143 to Route 188 in particular is highly recommended. This 26.3 out and back section is great for drivers of all skills all year round, and you’ll have a wide selection of terrain to admire from your vehicle— with some stream crossings being prime locations to stop for a few calm minutes— as you take the easy to navigate dirt road and down the mountains.
