Lynx Lake Kayaking
About five miles east of Prescott, Lynx Lake is one of the more popular recreational spots in central Arizona, and it’s no wonder to see why. Surrounded by the green pines of Prescott National forest, this lake is a small getaway that’s an easy drive from Arizona’s hotter locales.
At 55 acres, Lynx Lake is smaller but nowhere near cramped. Its waters are well stocked with fish and its local store and marina offers a variety of kayak rentals whether you’re looking to paddle alone or ride tandem with someone else. The lakeshore also has plenty of amenities and camping nearby if you’re looking to get the most out of a paddle filled weekend.
