Mormon Lake Kayaking
Another one of Arizona’s few natural lakes, Mormon Lake is another body of water that’s very seasonal in its use. Sometimes the amount of water that flows in is quite impressive, other times smaller during drought, and sometimes it’s more of a lakebed than a lake.
Regardless, when Mormon Lake does have water, it’s a pristine place to pull out your paddle and watch the wildlife flocking to and around its shores. If you’re hungry after a full day of paddling, Mormon Lake Lodge is a cowboy steak house well worth its fame to pull into at the end of the day.
