Mescal Mountain Biking

One of the shorter trails in Sedona’s red rock expanse, Mescal is a fitting trail if you want to enjoy a shorter 2.4 mile challenge in the same Dry Creek area as Chuckwagon.

Most of that challenge is immediately at the start, as you’ll need to tear up a short, steep, and rocky slope to get to the more well flowing and level elevation. The trail essentially keeps up this theme for the rest of this ride, as you’ll have some relaxing areas of rolling trail interrupted by brief patches of big pushes to keep up to the next level. It all pays off in the end though, as you’ll get to make a sharp and thrilling descent to the end of the trail.
