Where to go for ATVing Experiences in Arizona

Offroading and ATV opportunities within Arizona are practically endless. Over half of the state’s land up and down Arizona is open and maintained specifically for public use, granting a vast array of dirt roads and rocky trails to take your vehicle of choice. With lush forests, rolling open deserts, towering red rock formations, and seasonal cool stream crossings, you’re spoiled for choices no matter what time of year you’re looking to head out— though the time of year and what your personal vehicle can handle will certainly make this choice a bit easier. With so many areas to pick from it’s difficult to narrow the recommendations down, so we’ve compiled a list not only of our favorite areas to go off-road, but also great trails to start on so you can get the best introduction to the possibilities waiting to be explored.
